Quick Answer
AuraaQem Detergent Gel is more concentrated, so around 40-45 ml (1.5 caps) is enough for a 6 kg load, compared to around 60 ml (2 caps) of Liquid Detergent. This lower dose per wash makes the gel attractive for hotels, hostels and laundries that wash large volumes.
What makes a detergent concentrated
A concentrated detergent packs more cleaning power into each millilitre, so you need less of it per wash. AuraaQem Detergent Gel is formulated this way, which is why its recommended dose is lower than that of Liquid Detergent for the same 6 kg load.
Dose comparison
For a 6 kg load, AuraaQem Liquid Detergent needs around 60 ml or 2 caps, while Detergent Gel needs around 40-45 ml or 1.5 caps. Over many washes, the lower dose of the gel adds up, especially for buyers who wash every day.
Who should choose which
Families who like a familiar 2 cap measure often prefer Liquid Detergent. Hotels, hostels, hospitals and commercial laundries that run many loads a day often prefer Detergent Gel to reduce product use per load.
Both work in front load and top load machines
Whichever you choose, both AuraaQem laundry products work in front load and top load machines. Pour into the dispenser drawer for front load machines and into the drum water for top load machines.

| Detergent Gel | 40-45 ml | About 111 to 125 |
Getting the best value from laundry products
- Measure with the cap instead of pouring freely.
- Run full loads instead of many half loads.
- Pre-treat heavy stains before the main wash.
- Buy 5 Litre packs if you wash daily.
- Store detergent with the cap closed, away from sunlight.
